The political globe features a light blue ocean, with countries shown in multiple colors so it's easy to see where borders are. The topographical globe features a darker blue ocean and green land masses with shaded, contour-looking mountains, deserts, and forests. Cities, capitals, countries, and continents are all clearly marked on both globes.
