Language Maps

From the publishers of 10 Minutes a Day, language "maps" are compact reference guides containing over 1,000 common words and phrases. All information is printed on four laminated panels that fold like a map. Map dimensions are approximately 4 inches by 11 inches, folded. Each map provides essential phrases, translations, and phonetically-spelled pronunciations in the following topics: meeting people, asking questions, money, numbers, mail, telephone, dining out, time, calendar, shopping, emergencies, sightseeing, transportation, and hotels. Maps for languages with non-English alphabets (like Russian and Hebrew) have an extra alphabet reference panel. Pictograph and ideograph-based languages (like Chinese and Japanese) also have an extra panel, which lists basic characters. Please note the Chinese map is for Mandarin Chinese. ~ Anh
