Henty Short Story Collection
This volume contains two short stories by G. A. Henty. The first is about a frontier girl of the American West, in the late 1700s, who risks life and limb to escape the Indians and warn her family of an imminent attack. The second is set in Victorian England in the 1890s. A one-armed, "crusty old boatman" meets two small girls who help to begin the healing of his heart after years of pain and bitterness caused by a decision made long ago. This audio version, read by Jim Weiss, is 1 hour 20 minutes.
