My Book of Reading Skills are workbooks by Kumon to help your child develop good reading skills while becoming motivated to learn on their own. Concepts are introduced methodically to help students with mastery without frustration. Easy Phonics will help your child to recognize letter sound relationships and short vowel sounds. Phonics will help with consonant blends and long vowel sounds. In a similar fashion, Easy Sight Words will introduce short sight words to the child and can be followed by Sight Words to introduce more challenging sight words.
