Description
This unique science kit is centered around a scaled-down, child-safe version of a piece of equipment from the college science lab: a vacuum chamber! Although plastic, the vacuum chamber works surprisingly well, and has the added benefit of being easy to assemble and clean. The air is pumped out using a length of tubing with a syringe attached, and even young children can operate it. The experiment booklet includes directions for nine experiments, plus “take it further" challenges that use household materials to show the effects of air pressure.
