a journal with checklists and thought-provoking questions to fill in. Each
chapter starts with a short story that applies to the rest of the chapter.

comfortable with using the Bible as a reference. Each chapter ends with a recap
and some assignments to “Walk it Out” during the week. Three coloring pages
provide a creative outlet and could be removed and used as a visual reminder of
what students have learned. Pair with the God’s Girl Leader’s Guide for a complete

Publisher's Description of God's Girl
Do you desire heart-to-heart talks with the tween or teenage girls in your life and they grasp scriptural truth that doesn’t change with the latest trends? Let God’s Girl partner with you. Self-discovery Look in the Mirror quizzes explore her internal self-talk, evaluate her picture of God, unpack her identity in Christ, understand how she navigates conflict—what’s healthy and what’s not—and more. Digging Deeper and Heart-to-Heart sections dive into scriptures relating to the topics. Each chapter invites your girl to choose an activity that will help reinforce her “aha” moment from that week.
The
years of change can be hard to navigate for a young woman. This book addresses
how a girl sees herself, how she can know God, and how to make friends. This
could be used at home between a daughter and parent, in a small group, or even at
an after-school program. It is intended to be interactive. If you follow a
weekly schedule, there are 9 weeks of material that will take about 30-40
minutes a week to cover.
Each
girl will want a copy of the Student Book, which is consumable and will
act as a journal with checklists, thought-provoking questions to fill in, Scripture
references, and follow-up activities. The Leader’s Guide gives
confidence to the adult leading the program and is a helpful tool to have. Being
a mentor to the younger generation is a needed position. Scripture quotations
are taken from The New Living Translation of the Bible. ~Amber
