Description

What are mnemonics anyway? Mnemonic systems are techniques or strategies consciously used to improve memory. They use information already stored in long-term memory to remember something new. This set of cards uses a memorable phrase with accompanying colorful illustration to help children learn to spell long words, difficult words, or words with silent letters. For example, the word friend is presented on the front of the card with a frying pan and a girl.

On the back of the card, friend is again spelled with “If you fri your friend she will come to an end.” There are 100 cards with colorful illustrations to help make some hard words imbed correctly in the brain. Great for visual and right brain learners! Cards are glossy and measure 4½ x 3½ inches. ~Amber
