Description
Pete the Cat is throwing a cupcake party, but Grumpy Toad stole all the cupcakes! As players, it is up to you to work together to get back all of Pete's cupcakes by completing "challenges". Challenges are dictated by the spot a player lands on, which is decided with a spinner. Challenges include naming an animal and imitating its call, naming a food, singing a verse of a song, thinking of a letter and word that starts with that letter, or acting out a charade card. If you complete challenges successfully, you get to collect cupcakes. You have to use a bit of memory, though - if you name an animal, say a word, or sing a song that another player already chose, you cannot collect a cupcake. Grumpy the toad also brings a bit of a challenge by taking cupcakes back if players land on his space. A very simple co-operative game for young kids with enough diversity of activities to be interesting. For 2-4 players ages three and up, 30 minute play time. - Janine
