Intro to Astronomy Package
Explore the wonders of the night sky in Intro to Astronomy! In this fascinating Jr High (7th-8th grade) science course, students will discover the majestic beauty of God's vast universe as they explore the awe-inspring field of astronomy.
Through intriguing text and full-color photographs and illustrations, students will learn how to observe the night sky (with or without binoculars or telescope), the best times to see specific galaxies and celestial objects, and how to determine what they are looking at during certain times of the year!
These Teacher Guides are all designed to accompany the Wonders of Creation series, transforming them into one year science courses to be used at the junior and senior high levels. Each booklet includes a weekly lesson schedule (totaling a one-year study) with a chart that also provides space for due dates and grades. Worksheets are included for each chapter in the books and are reproducible for family use. Quizzes and tests are also included along with answer keys. Packages include all resources and Teacher Guide.
Master Books has such incredible science resources, but families choosing to use these books have historically either devised their own teacher material or used the publishers' free study guide if one was available. No more! They have now published Parent Lesson Planners (or "PLPs") for many of their resources including: Investigate the Possibilities Science, John Hudson Tiner's Exploring the History Of... series, Wonders of Creation series, and other stand-alone
Items in this section tend to be instructional frameworks, or unit studies with a "core" teaching resource supplemented with additional text and/or activity resources.
