The focus of the first grade book is on vocabulary, drawing conclusions, facts and inferences, main idea, making judgments and noting details. Multiple choice questions develop skills for a successful standardized test taking experience. The second through fifth grade books are adapted from Comprehension Skills Complete Classroom Library and further develop children's abilities to comprehend fiction and non-fiction reading passages through multiple choice questions and writing activities.
