Product Description:

Similar to the card game Set, the deck is composed of cards with word parts on them (suffixes, prefixes and roots) with their meaning in smaller font underneath. Dealer arranges cards in a 4 x 4 grid; players all race to create words by putting the word parts together and collecting the corresponding cards. New cards from the deck continually replace empty slots; player who collects the most cards, wins!
Category Description for Washington Reads Spelling/Vocab:

With their catchy names and play similar to other popular card games, kids won't even realize how much they are learning. Each card game helps kids take a deeper look into parts of words (roots, prefixes, suffixes) and learn and retain their meanings. Games are simple to play with short, straightforward instructions included. Two games are available; one concentrates on Greek word patterns (SocraTeaser) and the other focuses on Latin word patterns (CaesarPleaser). See below each game for details. ~ Megan
