I thought it will be a fun way to begin our day. Perhaps I'll read the mysteries at breakfast and we can talk it out and figure who did it.

I needed a supplement to a critical thinking course for my HS daughter. It was a bargain book so worth taking a risk on it not being exactly what we wanted.

How long does each "case" take solve? I'm looking for a year long curriculum, does book 1 take the first half of the school year and then move into book 2?
A shopper on Aug 15, 2021
BEST ANSWER: Each of the 12 cases took us 10 to 15 minutes to read through and discuss. So no, this is by not a year-long curriculum, rather just a supplement. We solved one case per week. The premise is the same for each case: a crime was committed, the suspects are described, facts and statements are given. By the process of elimination you determine the culprit. Helps kids pay close attention to key facts, comparing each profile to determine the guilty party.
