Publisher Description:

The JUMBO Grip - Metallic - The unique shape of The Pencil Grip in a larger size for additional support.

The JUMBO Grip uses the same revolutionary shape and is 40% larger than The Pencil Grip, the #1 grip recommended by doctors, teachers, and occupational therapists for children and adults. The larger size of The JUMBO Grip makes it the only grip to provide extended comfort and support up to the second knuckle. Righties and Lefties simply place their thumb on the "R" or "L" on the grip and their fingers naturally fall into place.

Category Description for Pencil Grips:

When you hear "pencil grip," you probably think of those hard plastic, prism-shaped gadgets. That's exactly what this is NOT. We've selected this particular grip because of its many beneficial features. First of all, it's flexible, allowing it to fit over any size pencil, pen or craft knife. It's soft and rubbery instead of unyielding plastic. Molded especially to fit fingers comfortably, there is only one correct way to hold it. Useable for either right- or left-handed kids, sides are marked with "R" and "L" to ensure kids hold it correctly. ~ Stephanie

I tried smaller pencil grips triangles etc and none worked for my son I tried The Jumbo Pencil Grip and he was able to hold the pencil correctly I highly recommend trying this product if you have a child who has trouble holding the pencil correctly even if you have tried other pencil grips and trianglesOne thing I recommend is that for one day have your student practice just holding the pencil correctly for a couple minutes I put a dab of white out on the spot that should be facing "up" to make it easier for him to find the correct position I would buy at least three to keep around in case one gets lost :)
