Publisher Description:

With this beautifully crafted plush Animal Cell with organelles, cell biology has never been more exciting and fun. Animal cells are remarkable, tiny building blocks. Consider a 1mm grain of sand. You could fit over 200 red blood cells in that grain! There are hundreds of specialized types of animal cells from neurons to bone cells. Within all of these cells are organelles circular, squiggly, irregular and rod-shaped structures. Animal cells have many features in common with plant cells, such as a nucleus, cytoplasm, reticula, ribosomes and mitochondria. Think about this, cells and their organelles allow animals to grow, eat, reproduce and even think! Size: 6" x 5" x 3"

I thought this book was neat but for some reason my kids weren't drawn to it the way they were to the other wipe off books we bought It is a nice big sturdy board book The only reason I can think of is the pages are a bit busy and maybe overcrowded with pictures It's not as easy for the kids to see what to do without me explaining to them I am still happy with the product and hopefully it will get more use in the future
