on sale. have pre-schooler. Always looking for "life skills" and home-economics and "homesteading" type curriculum. <br /><br />Would love curriculum for growing your own winter and summer "squash" or similar and for how to care for your chickens or guinea's. How to keep a tidy room and how to thoroughly clean a kitchen or bathroom.

I am looking forward to integrating manners into as many aspects of 1st grade with my child. I have used other art books by stabbing and have been very satisfied with his Christian approach to art.

Does the book mention if it is ok to make copies for multiple children in one household?
BEST ANSWER: I do not recall, but I would not hesitate if I needed to. I usually have my children do every other lesson so they hear both pages, but each does their own page. I don’t really love this manners book- but I do love art! It is maybe a mix of character development and manners- plus art... but none of it thorough. It is not my favorite style of art either. I appreciate the concept- but it has not been a favorite in my house. :)

Art questions: is this book inclusive (meaning no separate purchases aside from coloring and cutting instruments) and when you cut or draw or color something out is it blank on the back and easy to remove from the book?
BEST ANSWER: It is inclusive, you only need basic art materials. My 8 year old daughter enjoys it- but it’s a bit on the young side for her. There is print on both sides of the pages so they are not made to take out- however it is a nice thick page and we’ve never had any bleed through. If we wanted to cut out the pages we probably could. She would just have to choose which side to display. I like the little art lessons and it is more of a character building book than manners and etiquette from what I can tell. We aren’t very far into it yet though.

Is this good for boys too?
BEST ANSWER: It works for my 8-year-old son who happens to like arts and crafts. The scripture verses in this book are beautiful. We use it twice a week.

This is a very cute book - especially for girls However you will probably want one for each child There are alot of words on each page and usually a small area for art It would be better I think if the art activity was on a separate page
