Product Description:

Geared for young children, this update of a popular Moody title that has sold over 1.5 million copies is written by Kenneth N. Taylor and beautifully illustrated by Annabel Spenceley. The 112 stories of the Old and 72 of the New Testaments are each presented with an illustration that captures the essence of the event, a simplified narrative (with the actual Scripture references) for reading aloud to your children, reinforcing questions, and a prayer to connect your children with the lesson presented. A wonderful way to introduce young children to what the Bible has to offer to us all. - Tom

Category Description for Heart of Dakota Early Learning Programs:

Little Hands to Heaven (ages 2-5), Little Hearts for His Glory (ages 5-7), and Beyond Little Hearts for His Glory (ages 6-8) are complete, biblically-based curriculum that combine Bible stories and activities, with developmentally appropriate subject areas into each daily lesson. Author Carrie Austin offers a very thoughtfully designed course with a flexible framework and educationally sound lessons. The activities included in the lesson correlate to the Bible story, forming a complete, Bible-based lesson. Each course has 33-34 units (divided into daily increments), designed to be used one per week, and no seasonal content is included so you can begin at any time. Each unit is laid out very simply, with the activities organized into different boxes on the page (for a great at-a-glance look at your week) with short and simple directions given for each. Rather than reinventing the wheel, Carrie incorporates many tried and true resources into her curriculum such as Primary Math, Christian Liberty History, Christian Liberty Nature Readers, A Reason for Handwriting, and more. These will need to be purchased separately; you can find the required resources on our website. All in all, a very easy-to-implement, Bible-based curriculum that you should easily be able to fit into your day, and the youngsters will love to do.

We read the original version of this book to our own 6 children. Now I am buying the new version to give to friends of mine who are now getting their first grandchildren. It makes a wonderful grandparents' gift!

Great Bible for Little Ones
I purchased this as a gift for a friend who wanted to start reading Bible stories to her toddler. We personally had and enjoyed this Bible with it's sweet detailed pictures and simply text.

Wonderful gift for new grandparents!
I am giving each one of my friends one of these books as a new baby gift. It's a gift for the grandparents to read to their grandbabies. The stories are the same as the original *Bible in Pictures for Little Eyes*, as far as I've read. The pictures are updated, but they are not the cartoony-looking ones that so many children's Bibles have nowadays. This book will give you many one page Bible stories, with a beautiful picture for each story.

I originally purchased this Bible as a resource for a curriculum I was using But since then Ive come to love using it for family bible time with all the kids The stories are short but complete and are worded in an easy conversational tone that the little ones can relate to On each page is the exact scripture reference where I have the older kids read before we come together as a family There are three or four brief easy questions for reflection and an appropriate prayer for closing Little ones especially the 2 year old find it difficult to sit for such a long period but The New Bible in Pictures for Little Eyes by Kenneth Taylor affords us that time to praise the Lord together
