Peptide: A Protein Building Game
Have fun learning about how cells build proteins in this educational strategy game. Players compete to build the best peptide chain by linking amino acid cards. To add an amino acid to a peptide chain, a player must expend an ATP token and match the required RNA to the amino acid card. Based on the organelles the players chose at the beginning of the turn, players earn actions and resources needed to complete amino acids and build their peptide chain. Points are earned based on the completed amino acids in a player's chain, and the player with the highest score at the end wins! Play time is approximately 30-45 minutes. For 2-5 players. ~ Rachel
In Peptide, players compete to link Amino Acids side-by-side, building what's called a Peptide Chain (another fancy word for a protein). In order to build this protein, players must first make a set of thoughtful selections from a number of openly available Organelle Cards. Selected Organelle Cards are removed from that round's available options, creating an interactive open-card-drafting mechanic.
