It's Fun to Draw Knights and Castles
It's time to journey back to medieval timeswhen brave knights in shiny suits of armor gallantly protected castles. For every child who loves knights and castles, this is the perfect book to fuel that interest. It's packed with simple step-by-step illustrations and tips for coloring a variety of valiant knights and towering castles, including:
- Castle guards
- Norman knights
- Hawkbury Castle
- Arabian knights
- Jousting tents
- And seven more!
With these simple and playful illustrations, kids will be able to draw their own medieval scenes in no time!
All aspiring artists need to start with the basics and to have fun while learning. It's Fun to Draw is a fantastic series that any youngster can use to start honing their skills. Each project has easy-to-follow instructions that will clearly guide the child through the step-by-step process of creating vivid whimsical characters or animals. In a matter of minutes a novice will learn to create a wide variety of animals, insects, knights, pirates, princesses and even wee beasties from the deep! Most of the projects are done with pencil or crayon drawings, but a few are cardboard cutouts that require scissors. Divided by subject matter, each book is published on high finish paper, reasonably priced and cleverly simplistic. The author clearly had a blast designing each project, sprinkling every other page with a little trivia and naming certain characters, like Barnacle Butch and Sophie Storm (the pirates book is my favorite, by the way). ~ Nick
