Description

This book of basic Bible trivia from Rod and Staff Publishers provides an interesting and educational way to pass the time. It is full of Bible quizzes that can be completed in a variety of ways. An individual could work through the questions independently, players could answer by turn, or players could see who can answer first. The quizzes are divided into categories of Bible animals, children, men, women, miracles, numbers, occupations, places, quotes, general Bible questions, verses, and Bible facts. Some categories have two parts; the first part is just a series of questions with no hints for the answer. In the second part, each question has 5 clues and the clues are read one at a time, with each clue making the answer more obvious, until a player guesses correctly. In the Bible Verses section, players simply have to fill in the blanks of popular verses and in the Quotes section, players read Bible quotes and identify who said it to whom and where it's found in the Bible. Though intended to be used for students, these quizzes could be quite the refresher for adults as well. The number of quiz questions per category varies but there are about 570 questions in all.
