Readiness & Writing Pre-K Teacher's Guide provides everything you need to understand the program and developmental stages to effectively teach the lessons in the My First School Book. The program uses many fun manipulatives catering to all learning preferences. Topically, children learn the alphabet, letter and number recognition and formation, counting, shapes, colors and drawing. The writing focus is on uppercase letters, while learning to write lowercase letters begins in Week 30 using the My First Lowercase book. There is an incredible amount of information included in the Teacher's Guide! Lessons are easy to use and there is a suggested 36 week schedule found near the front of the book.
Lessons address general readiness, alphabet knowledge, letter/number recognition and formation, counting, drawing, shapes, and colors.
