Drawing on the Go! Under the Sea
It's easy for budding artists of all ages to create realistic drawings of marine animals. These step-by-step illustrations show how to sketch thirty-one inhabitants of the sea. Each lesson uses simple shapes circles, ovals, rectangles as building blocks to form likenesses of an angelfish, clownfish, lobster, catfish, frog, Great White shark, and other creatures.
Young artists can learn to draw using simple shapes with this inexpensive series. Start with an oval, or maybe a circle. Add more shapes, one by one, and before you know it, you will have a cute cartoon! The left hand side of these little 4" x 5 ¾" books contains the step-by-step illustrations, while the opposite page is blank, to use for practice. There are no written steps to accompany the illustrations-just the sequence of shapes (so even children who are too young to read can try their hand). A total of 30 items are featured in each book, such as a cat, cheetah, or elephant (Animals), or vehicles, foods, and pets (Lots of Things). 60 pgs. ~ Lisa
