God's Wonderful Works Teacher Manual

This worktext uses days of Creation as its framework as students learn about Heavens and Earth; the Sky; Land, Seas and Plants; Sun, Moon and Stars; Fish and Birds; Land Animals and Man; God Rested (Summary).

Most activities use common household items. There are a few suggested resources you may want to gather ahead of time, including a basic rock kit, microscope or magnifying glass, and telescope. Activities may be modified if needed.

Gently introduce science to young learners through this easy-to-use worktext approach. The series is clearly written and offers hands-on activities using household items. Colorful student workbooks contain the teaching information, activities, and review questions. The 2nd edition workbooks offer updated graphics and a few text corrections, along with an updated Teacher Manual providing succinct background information, lesson plans, memory work, and answers. Lessons are scheduled 20 minutes every other day, with encouragement to enjoy related field trips. In grade 3, a suggested weekly schedule is provided with flexibility to pursue topics more in-depth if desired. Where offered an optional Test Pack provides non-reproducible tests and an answer key.
