Kids like it
The kids started singing along right away. They (and I) like how the answer is left out the second time through the song. It should be a pain-free way to assist in memorizing the times tables.

Kathy Troxel has put together these rhythmic songs to help children memorize math facts In the same fashion as the addition subtraction and division CD's children are able to hear the multiplication facts put to music I appreciated the fact that the music was done in an upbeat but non-offensive manner There is a book with reproducible pages that can be used in conjunction with the CD Each page has two columns on it The first column lists a specific multiplication family with their answers The second column lists the facts again but leaves a space blank for the answer Since I have more than one child using this book I photocopy the pages so they can practice writing in the answersThe facts covered on the CD and in the book are families 1-12 My children have the book open while listening to the music CDThey follow along pointing with their finger as Kathy sings Depending on how much practice they need I may have them listen more than once or concentrate on a certain family This product has helped to add another way to practice multiplication facts My children desire variety for things that require memorization and this product provides that
