Excellent little book for learning simple map skills and world geography. It works on its own or can be a part of a larger countries and cultures study. So inexpensive for what it covers! There is room for some creative writing or report type writing on each continent. This resource is nice because it can be used in several ways.

A nice little journal for the price to use along with your geography studies. It covers each continent separately with all the countries and their capitols listed to label on the maps, along with major landforms. I really like that they are also spelled phonetically to help with pronunciation! There are headings with lots of lined spaces for paragraph writing or copy work as well. A pretty handy little learning tool!

Lots of possibilities
This curriculum offers homeschoolers a little structure and a lot of flexibility. Using self-chosen resources, kids can learn about any and all aspects of the globe. My 3rd grader researched Africa and the Indian Ocean for Tour 2 and we look forward to exploring the world as we go. You will get more out of it if you get creative. I believe the Teacher's Manual is free (but you need to put it in your cart, it does not come with the book automatically) and really valuable to help you get the most out of the Journey.

I used this with my children last year and we all really appreciated how well it was set up I was easily able to use this with both my 4th grader and my 7th grader at the same time It was just enough work to give them a handle on the information without it seeming like busy work They did a lot of coloring and sharing answers which was a great activity This is a very adaptable resource It would be great to use in a class or Cooperative learning program Thanks for carrying it!

This is a great find I got these last year one for each of my children We used this along with other learning tools such as watching videos internet mapping and reading about areas of the world We liked how the activities in this simple workbook were arranged with a basic matching format There was some allowance for color and shape coding as well The semi-guided journal style pages that followed the maps were well set up for a variety of learning styles and abilities
