Will use these as warm up activities at the beginning of class while I take attendance. I teach at a hybrid homeschooling cooperative, so I need some extra resources for Algebra I class.

Looking for a workbook to use over the summer to introduce Algebra for next school year. Being a math teacher myself, this book covers the necessary objectives for Algebra I.

Great for a warm up
I teach at a hybrid homeschooling coop, which meets three days a week. I use this as a warm up exercise at the start of class. We don’t have strict rules like a public school would have (be in your class by the time the bell rings, need hall passes to use the restroom), thus some days are a challenge to get homeschoolers gathered and focused. This small book has been a great addition!

We've had our Mid Skill Lapboard for a few years now Though it says Grade Level 3-6 we ALL use it We have a 4th grader and an 8th graderInfact it's time to buy a few more We love them for ALL subjectsOne side is solid white dry erase the other side has math areas for: place value/whole numbers (which can be used for writing for younger kids too); multiplication grid and fractionsThumbs-up!

We use these boards for nearly every subject but I really love them for math We started using them when we were learning multiple digit addition with regrouping It worked perfectly to keep everything arranged "on paper" and in their minds We used them when learning multiplication facts by filling in the multiplication table every day We used them again for multiple digit multiplication My 7 year old son understands the concepts but when working on paper usually gets the answers wrong I narrowed his problem down to handwriting and this product really really helps We also use the reverse side for spelling tests learning latin vocabulary and doodling I recommend this product to everyone with a child who is young working more advanced math problems
