is this a work book?

BEST ANSWER: Not a workbook, but an engaging book filled with accurate and creatively presented information about different elements of forensic science. My kids loved to take the book and read ahead on their own time, even though I was teaching it within my science curriculum for homeschooling. I have my masters degree in criminal justice, so I was hesitant about the quality of the information....until I received the book. It is excellent! It engages kids with graphic comics illustrating the different evidence gathering techniques, it presents true “case files” from history around the globe showing examples of a particular element of evidence gathering, it has colorful photos illustrating crime scene layouts, and so much more. Based on the mature nature of the content, I would recommend to kids 12 and up, depending on the parent’s individual comfort level. I hope this helps answer your question.
