Product Description:

A 5" diameter student clock with geared hands to maintain hour/minute relationship.

Category Description for Saxon Math:

Students like Saxon because they feel successful in math instead of overwhelmed.

The most popular homeschooling math program hands down! Highly recommended by both Mary Pride and Cathy Duffy, Saxon Math also wins our award for the "Most Requested Text." Saxon math is a "user-friendly" math program - even for Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus and other usually difficult math topics. Learning is incremental and each new concept is continuously reviewed, so the learning has time to "sink in" instead of being forgotten when the next topic is presented. Higher scores on standardized tests and increased enrollments in upper-level math and science classes have resulted where Saxon has been used in public schools. Students like Saxon because they feel successful in math instead of overwhelmed. Because of the format, children are able to work more independently.

Category Description for My Own Little Judy Clock with Booklet:

Judy has gone miniature! These 5" x 5" plastic clocks have bright, knobbed hands, a clear window revealing working red and green gears, and non-locking hands that allow for individual movement of hour and minute hands without damage. A 16-page reproducible activity book is included. The clock is also available without the booklet or fancy packaging for less.

Category Description for Saxon K-3 Program:

The Teacher's Manual contains the actual lesson plans and information vital to the effective presentation of math concepts. The consumable Meeting Books are used during the teacher-student "meeting" in which concepts are introduced, demonstrated and practiced. If teaching more than one student at the same level, you will only need one meeting book. Consumable Student Workbooks are used in grades 1-3 only and contain student materials, flash cards and practice pages. The Math K Home Study Kit contains teacher edition and meeting book. Math 1, 2, and 3 kits contain teacher edition, meeting book, and a set of 2 workbooks. Manipulatives are a vital, integral part of the program; these are not included in the Home Study Kits, but are available through us also.

My first graders love using the large Judy Clocks to learn how to tell time! However, I need a small one to practice with on the ELMO projector and this is a great price for a Judy Clock. Thank you Rainbow Resource Center!

Judy Clocks are the best. The gears move the hour and minute hands together so the student sees how they correlate.

I love how the minute hand tracks correctly with the hour hand. Even if the child moves it out of sync, it doesn't break and is easily realigned.

we used the same thing at school
Jeanne S on Mar 18, 2017
this is the best student clock there is. the only thing that would make this clock better is if the minute and hour hands were different colors

I remember these from my own elementary years and loved it! I was very excited to see them here and had to have it for my kiddos. I love that it is a small easy to store size and very reasonably priced. We will have fun with this I'm sure! (or at least this teacher will!)

Great teaching tool
This is a great clock to help teach time. I love that it has gears. It really helps my daughter see how the hour hand moves when the minute hand is moved. It is a great size too.

The relationship between the hour and minute hands are more-or-less accurate (needs a tiny bit of adjustment from time to time) The hands *can* be moved independently At first I was worried our almost-three-year-old had broken the clock by forcing the hands to move separately but soon discovered they can be re-adjusted We've only had the clock for a full day so not sure if this mechanism will eventually break down if the hands are forced to move independently often enoughOur preschooler loves this clock and so do I I like the tiny minute indicators on the clock making it easier for kids to tell the time

Hands on fun while learning! My kids love to use this clock It is very easy for them to use The minute hand moves with the hour hand so you see how the clock hands move together It has held up well to the use of many little hands and is a great value for the price

Did I buy this for my kids really? I don't know I know I wanted to turn the gears myself I think I remember the big Judy clock from grade school and not being able to manipulate it for as long as I wanted to So when I saw this (cheap!) child-sized (easy to store!) clock I immediately ordered it and I am really glad I did My kids like it too And as the teacher this time around I like that it has the 5 10 15 etc markers on it and the gear-shaped individual minutes marked
