Category Description for God, I Need to Talk to You About...:

These colorful little books by Susan K. Leigh and Dan Carr teach kids important life lessons and how to deal with challenging situations in a friendly, colorful way. They cover a variety of issues, all written from a child's point of view and using simple language. Each book points out God's love and forgiveness while teaching why certain behaviors are bad and providing Scripture verses to emphasize the central theme. The verses are in NIV and are presented on every few pages. The easy to read text points out the consequences of different sins or what to do in particular situations in a kid-centered way. They share stories about a young boy or girl who runs into trouble and learns how to overcome the difficulty or ask for forgiveness. The full-color, glossy pages hold illustrations similar to those found in comic books. Even though these booklets are small, they get to the point and are approachable; perfect for sharing with kids. Each book is 4.5" x 5.5", 16 pgs, pb. ~ Rachel

Love, but tiny
This was my own fault for not reading the description closer, and even when I did, it didn't dawn on my how little they would be. They are about the size of a book you might get from a happy meal. The story is very good though, my son is Autistic and I love pulling one out when he is having a rough time.

When I first received these I thought they were kind of small in size but once you open them up and read them you realize that size does not matter We bought the whole set of these books and read one each week as part of our Bible time Instead of tucking them back away I put them on my children's bookshelf and was surprised at how often they chose these books to look at or read again I thought the kids could really relate to the lessons these books teach and I also appreciated the corresponding Bible verses
