Christmas gift for grandsons. We read this for our children when they were young and we all enjoyed reading it. Great story about a boy growing up in CO during the early 1900's. My grandsons also live in this area of CO. We liked it as much as the Little House books.

Character and resourcefulness
This is an amazing story of perseverance, perspective, and resourcefulness. I especially enjoyed seeing life through the eyes of an eight-year-old boy.

I have to completely agree with Betsy's review; this series is one of the best available Our entire family boys and girls were completely enamored with this series It is very difficult to find a series like this one that will enthrall its audience and yet intertwine character building lessons of integrity throughout

Wow By far THE BEST FAMILY READ ALOUD EVER!!!!I have read and collected a lot of great books however the Moody Family Series is by far the best of the best CS Lewis said that a good children's book is one that an adult enjoys too Our set of Moody adventures sits high on the books shelf in a place of reverence and awe The stories have inspired us challenged us and captivated us We have laughed cried and thought deeply I am ever so thankful my good friend suggested them They make a great gift for families who are learning to read aloud together We will cherish them as a family for many years and generations to come

This is a fantastic book! Little Britches is my son's all time favorite book He reads it over and over I myself have read it twice and loved it both times Boys will love it for its cowboyish adventure Girls will love it for its great story line and moms will love it for the many great character lessons found within its pages Don't miss this book! It is sure to be a family favorite!
