Conceptual Biology
Building on a foundation in physics and chemistry, Conceptual Biology connects concepts of the science of life. Beginning with an in-depth review of chemistry, students study the nature of cells, genetics and inheritance, evolution, and the diversity of life. Human Anatomy and Physiology, populations, communities, and ecosystems are included. Throughout the course, the concepts of biology are connected to a student’s daily life with relevant examples from medicine, nutrition, health, and biotechnology.
