Summer Bridge Backpacks
Don’t lose ground over the summer break and spend a month reviewing in the fall! Keep those skills sharp in a fun and engaging way. Each grade-level backpack includes a workbook for the kids to do 15 minutes a day of practice in math, writing, science, social studies, even fitness, in preparation for the next grade level (144pp, answers in the back, with a set of cut-out flashcards). A deck of math flashcards gives an additional hands-on/visual component. Also includes are 2 chapter books and 2 colorful, picture-type books with really interesting topics such as biographies and other historical/social topics. A guide helps parents pace the materials, but you could also free-style. Taking a family trip? These would be a great option to keep up with schoolwork.
