Come on Seabiscuit!
One of my greatest finds at a library book sale was an old worn-out copy of this book. It was one of my favorite books as a kid, and it still is. Seabiscuit, a thoroughbred, was a descendent of the famous horse, Man 'O War. While he didn't have the sleek look and great confirmation of his ancestor, he had the heart of a champion. People of all ages will love this heartwarming story of the colt as he goes from an abusive beginning to shattering records at race tracks across the country. ~ Megan
