Leaders in Action Series
What makes a great leader? The characteristics may vary from one to the next, but we know one when we see one. This collection of biographies gives us insights into some of the heroes of our nation, Great Britain, and the modern Christian Church. I say collection, as the books are authored by five different men: David Vaughan, Stephen Mansfield, Douglas Wilson, Steven Wilkins, and George Grant.
The books vary from 200 to over 300 digest-sized pages. Each book starts with a chronology of important dates in the person's life. The first part is the most biographical, while the second section delves deeper into the virtues making this person notable. A brief third part summarizes the individual's most memorable character traits and the leadership lessons we can learn. Text is quite readable, enlightening, and inspiring. Lower-priced books are softcover, others hardcover.
