This early series of biographies focuses not on the subject's whole life, but rather highlights the major events in their lives for the young reader, to give them a better feel of who the famous person was and what they accomplished in their life. Profusely illustrated, and a story-like format rather than a strict retelling of the individual's accomplishments lend themselves well to the younger reader.
