This well-written series introduces girls of today with godly young women of the past in a well-crafted blend of fact and historical fiction. Although each of these girls endured hardships that we rarely encounter today, their strong faith in God saw them through and enabled them to accomplish great things as well. Because their stories are true, and the focus is on a girl or young woman (a minority in most historical biographies!), this inspiring series introduces girls to solid role models they've probably never even heard of and reminds readers of the things we can accomplish and difficulties we can survive by looking to God for help.
