You don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to solve the riddles in these books, but you do need to be ready to solve some math problems! Each book contains 30 puzzles to solve, based around a grid and a list of approximately 20 math problems. In the addition and subtraction books, you use the answers you get to plot a course around the grid and locate an object or answer. In the other books, answers to the math problems will provide instructions on coloring blocks of the grid to form the answer to a question or a picture.
