Pilgrim's Progress Graphic Novels

Description

In comic book form, this two-volume series presents an abridged version of the classic tale of Pilgrim's Progress originally penned by John Bunyan in 1678. Featuring a steady stream of colorful and lively illustrations, this series reads like a classic comic book, complete with paraphrased and simplified dialogue. While the revised text remains largely true to the spirit of the original, it needs to be emphasized that this series is not a simple reprint or minor revision of Bunyan's classic work. This version of Pilgrim's Progress, therefore, is best suited for elementary or junior-high students who need lots of visual stimulation and a simplified storyline to capture and maintain their attention. 152 pgs, pb. ~ Mike
