Historical Document and Quill Sets
These outstanding, hands-on supplements can accompany any period study of US history. Document replicas are printed on hand-finished, antiqued parchment paper. The quills are authentic wing feathers from large birds, and the ink sets contain corked glass bottles of dry ink powder (simply mix the powder with hot water for usable ink). There are two types of sets available: document and quill or document, quill, and ink. In the non-ink sets, the parchment is folded and sealed in a bag with the quill. The ink sets come in a plastic clamshell package with the parchment rolled and tied with a bow. The parchment can be ironed with a q heat - so there is no need to worry about creases or curling that might result from the packaging. Getting that authentic feel of history can be so easy! - Zach
