Sentences get longer as you move up a level. In the back of each reader, you find a list of the decodable words and a list of the sight words (the non-rule followers). Extension activities included. In the short u – book 1, these include making bubble paint as an art activity, listing all the things in the tub (cup, pup, bug, jug) and thinking of more rhyming words. About 15 pages.
