This new edition integrates a four-step teaching cycle: Engage, Instruct, Apply, and Assess. Prior knowledge is used to encourage students to connect with new content (Engage); direct instruction and interactive strategies help expand knowledge (Instruct); leveled practice and STEM projects help students apply what they have learned (Apply); and skill checks and assessments evaluate student’s knowledge (Assess). New to this edition are more STEM activities, added vocabulary boxes, improved chapter and cumulative reviews to help with standardized testing, and the use of internet-based geometry software. Step-by-step solutions have also been added to the Activities Answer Key. BJU’s Homeschool Hub includes links and digital instructional aids to support lessons.
