Book censorship is a hot topic right now, but have you ever considered that science may be censored? The first concern I want to get out of the way is that this book does not delve into the 2019-2020 pandemic. Rather, this is a journey into creationism as an alternative to the current scientific theories of evolution and naturalism.
Vibrantly illustrated, the book is divided into three sections: Biology, Geology and Cosmology. Each section reviews commonly taught theories and evaluates them in light of scripture. After evaluating theories, there is a brief Skeptic’s Corner, which helps readers understand common evolutionary rebuttals to creation. A sampling of content covered includes DNA coding, the horse evolutionary timeline, rapid fossilization, geological layers, star evolution, the dying magnetic field, dinosaurs, pertinent biblical history, un-fossilized dinosaur tissue and more. Accessibly written, this is an overview of these topics and not a deep dive, and the author has taken great strides to make the information understandable and enjoyable. Parents will appreciate this resource that offers an alternative to what is taught in school. Students, whether taught creationism or evolution in their science texts, will appreciate the beautiful illustrations and engaging content that solidifies the biblical account of the world we live in.
