Keyboarding (1-year student license)
Product Overview
Description
Keyboarding is the third grade student program in Keyboarding Without Tears. Third grade starts with review and mastery of second grade work. It quickly moves into introducing number and function keys, formatting, and writing paragraphs. Students will reinforce their fine motor memory and increase their accuracy.
Keyboarding Without Tears is a K-5 typing series that provides the pre-keyboarding skills and keyboarding skills students need to succeed in today's modern digital world. This digital curriculum uses a playful game-based activity format that kids will enjoy and allows them to work independently with embedded support. The program also uses a row-based color-coded keyboard to teach finger-key associations. This helps make keyboarding a comfortable and automatic skill for children who are learning. Grade level content aligns with a student's abilities.
The Kindergarten level develops fine motor skills and teaches basic keyboard and mouse skills. Grade 1 works on dragging & dropping while developing finger-key association. Grade 2 practices typing common letters, words, and sentences. Grade 3 teaches number and action keys, formatting a paragraph, and provides tips on accuracy. Grade 4 builds speed and fluency, works on muscle memory, and includes some creative writing prompts for typing practice. Grade 5 promotes typing mastery with accuracy and speed, as students practice typing paragraphs about interesting topics.
Each level includes foundational skills and the ability to skip ahead if desired. This is an individual license and not a teacher/classroom license. Access is for one student for one full year from time of ordering. Activation information will be emailed to you directly from the publisher, Learning Without Tears.
