Sand art involves layering colored sand into a clear bottle using a funnel. You can then poke the sand along the side of the bottle with a skewer to create the look of mountains, valleys and other designs. Tilt the bottle as your pour the sand and watch the layers change. Once you are a pro, replace your sand and make even more! It's a good recycling project to look for some perfect sand art bottles! If a bottle doesn't have a screw top lid, try a cork and some craft glue to seal it up. Once they are done, give them as gifts or use them to hold down papers or even helium balloons for a party.
