Description

Controlling the tongue is a lifelong battle, and knowing that our words have the power to wound or heal makes it even more important to understand. With the Parent Guide: Fruit of the Tongue from Not Consumed Ministries, you are guided in a study and discussion over the power of the tongue. While not an answer key, this is still a valuable aspect of the study; it is your own intentional investigation with helpful discussion-based learning suggestions. Across all the different levels (primary, junior, youth), each study has the same Key Scripture Verse and Key Truth, allowing for common group conversation around the provided discussion question in the parent guide. The spiritual growth of your children is not your job. Your job is to create a positive environment and provide tools, instruction, and examples of spiritual formation. The day-to-day guidance through Scripture may be a new way of experiencing Scripture for you that draws you deeper into the Word and closer to the heart of God. Every level of worktext is a personal opportunity for discovery and reflection. That is why this is NOT an answer key. This is a place where parents discover and reflect on the same Scriptures that their children do. The included extras are a Bookmark highlighting what our words should do; two sheets of 32 study-specific stickers to decorate your booklet, Bible, or personal journal; and 4 Parent Challenge cards that are tasks catered specifically to parents. 48 pgs., paperback. ~Rebecca
