This beginner Yomega Power Brain XP Yo-Yo
features the option to switch between transaxle and auto return play, making it
the most ideal yo-yo for a beginner! When the yo-yo is switched to auto, it can
be flicked down into “sleep mode” for a trick, and will automatically return
when it is done spinning. When the yo-yo is switched to “off” for transaxle
mode, it will not auto-return, meaning it will not automatically return to the
hand after reaching the end of the string. In transaxle mode, it must be
returned with a tug or flick of the wrist. The wrist flick is quite easy and
satisfying to learn with some practice. Beginners should start with auto to get
the throwing action down, and then switch the “smart switch” to off to start
experimenting with transaxle mode.
Publisher's Description of Yomega Power Brain XP Yo-Yo Smart Switch (Level 1) Assorted Colors
The Yomega® Power Brain™ contains a centrifugal clutch that opens on the down swing, enabling the yo-yo to “sleep” or spin at the end of the string. When the yoyo slows down, the clutch snaps shut causing the yoyo to return automatically to the player’s hand. The Yomega Brain is one of the most popular yoyo designs in history and great for beginners.
Yomega yo-yos are a classic that have been around since
1984! They feature 3 different levels based on your degree of experience: Level
1 (Beginner), Level 2 (Intermediate), and Level 3 (Pro). Beginner yo-yos have
automatic return features and come back to your hand on their own. Intermediate
and Pro yo-yos feature only manual return. The Smart Switch yo-yo lets you choose
between manual and automatic return, so you can practice tricks with help
before trying them on your own! Each yo-yo comes in assorted colors.
