Description
All-purpose, intense black water-resistant ink provides maximum opacity. The 1 fl. oz. bottle comes with an "eye dropper" twist-off cap. Use in calligraphy pens, technical pens, with a brush or airbrush.
Publisher's Description of Higgins Black Magic Ink - 1oz
The deepest black in the Higgins line. Micro-pulverized pigments are suspended in a shellac solution to create a deep, velvety black pigmented drawing ink. Higgins Black Magic Ink can be diluted with distilled water. When mixed with other Higgins inks it can create muted shades that are excellent for gradations and shadows. Black Magic is water-resistent, but may smudge if not given a prolonged period to dry. Black Magic is best used as a top layer of ink or when used alone in a composition. Compatible with dip pens, brushes, and airbrushes. Black Magic Ink has good adhesion to most surfaces. It is most commonly used on paper, board, and film.
Close cap tightly after use. Do not mix with acids, or use as tattoo ink. Not launder-proof. Clean tools with tap water immediately after use or use Higgins Pen Cleaner for dried ink. Shake well before use as the pigment may settle over time.
