The 4 Day Kit includes the Instructor Guide with student activity pages, Almost 12, Blood & Guts, Usborne Complete Book of the Human Body, Food & Nutrition for Every Kid, Improve Your Survival Skills, Understanding Your Brain, Unlocking the Mysteries of Life and The Boy's Body Book. Experiments focus on food/nutrition. No lab supplies are included. Optional at this level is the Lyrical Life Science Volume 3.
Publisher's Description of Sonlight Science Level F for Boys 4-Day Program
Students study the human body in Science F, including anatomy, gender differences, reproduction, health and nutrition, and survival skills. The History of Medicine introduces several heroes of science.
Experiments in the kitchen look at food and how the body uses that fuel.
Students also learn about geology, fossils, evolution and intelligent design to better understand the broad discussion of the earth's formation. The Unlocking the Mystery of Life DVD shows evidence for an Intelligent Designer and adds depth to the origin of life conversation.
There is a brief, three-week unit on survival skills (a unit at least tangentially related to health and human physiology). We also touch on geology from both evolutionary and creationist perspectives.
