The chapters of this book are not numbered, however, each section in this guide covers 2-3 chapters of the book. Each section starts with vocabulary work followed by comprehension questions, scriptural connections, and those optional activities. Literary skills covered are many—POV, tone, mood, story elements, irony, flashback, allusion, bildungsroman (coming-of-age), and more. Prereading Activities provide context to what you will read.
