Product Overview

  • Encourage children to tap into their creativity with Mo Willems
  • Low-stress approach to simple drawing instruction
  • All you need is a pencil and an eraser to get started

Description

Cartoonist and professor Mo Willems is perhaps best known for his Pigeon books and the Elephant & Piggie series. His style is simple and unique, and in this book, he shares some techniques with YOU! No surprise, but he says you can’t make a mistake when setting out to doodle. This low-stress approach is delightful for children who may feel they are not artistically talented. Activities are given a “studio” number. Activity 1 is called Studio 1. You begin with a warmup, followed by guided drawing activity where you copy what you see and then are free to make your own version of whatever it is you are drawing. There are 14 multi-page activities and a diploma. The pages are perforated and consumable (you write directly on them). Pages are not reproducible. All you need is a pencil and eraser! ~Sara
