Cartoonist and professor Mo Willems is perhaps best known for his Pigeon books and the Elephant & Piggie series. His style is simple and unique, and in this book, he shares some techniques with YOU! No surprise, but he says you can’t make a mistake when setting out to doodle. This low-stress approach is delightful for children who may feel they are not artistically talented. Activities are given a “studio” number. Activity 1 is called Studio 1. You begin with a warmup, followed by guided drawing activity where you copy what you see and then are free to make your own version of whatever it is you are drawing.
