Description

This fun and cooperative game can be enjoyed by friends and family as players work together to put on different circus acts. To play the game, each player takes turns spinning the arrow and doing whatever action it lands on. If the spinner lands on Move/Save you can make a choice between moving your character or removing one of the safety nets from one of the boards. If the spinner lands on the Net option, you will then have to choose which board to put a net card on. If every net slot is filled on a board, then the performer on that board takes a fall and the nets then can be removed from the board. The goal of the game is to get the circus acts across the game boards without falling so they can complete their acts. The game ends when all performers are accounted for by either finishing their act or falling, so be sure to take time to discuss each move with your teammates to finish with the best results! Included in this set are four circus game boards, one ringmaster spinner, a set of cards consisting of nine safety nets, four clown acts, four animal acts, four performers, and rules. 1-6 players.

Publisher's Description of Circus Comes to Town Game

We are bringing an exciting Circus to town. We work together as a team to give the audience the best show we can. This game was inspired by the world-famous Cirque du Soleil that features magnificent, daring performances by human beings as well as wonderful humor and skills by Clowns. Animals are included in this game, but since it is your Circus, you can put on your own show with or without them. Each player spins to see what moves are to be made. Maybe you move the Acrobat along the spotlight spaces. Or maybe the High Wire artist. Or maybe danger looms on the Trapeze and a Safety Net is needed. Can we guide the Performers from Start to Finish without taking a Fall? The risks are great, the moves tricky. The results are very satisfying.

Includes: 4 boards, each 6 x 12?, illustrating special circus performances; set of cards depicting safety nets, clown acts, animal acts, and main performers; ringmaster’s spinner; rules for regular and hard games. © 1998

1-6 players, ages 6-adult.
